Concerns Raised over CSIS Intel Sharing, Following Alleged Threats from China on MP’s Family

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says he directed the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) to share more information with the federal government about threats to members of Parliament in response to reports that the Chinese government was looking to target Conservative MP Michael Chong’s family. Former CSIS director Richard Fadden thinks Canada’s spy agency should have been forthcoming with the information.
